Keto Jalapeno Cheese Poppers | Low carb | Super Easy to Make.!

I love Jalapeno Cheese Poppers they are crispy, cheesy, spicy and just damn tasty. Now that I am doing Keto diet and cheese is a staple, I decided to make my own version of Keto Jalapeno Cheese Poppers. This is how I do it, they do not look like traditional cheese poppers but oh boy.! do they taste delicious 👌🤤 

I used Pickled Jalapenos as they are easy to handle, no need to clean up the seeds and all that hassle. But you can use fresh ones too.! Fresh Jalapenos will be more hot than pickled Jalapenos, so definitely de seed them if you cannot handle the hotness. 

I also don’t use extra cheese in the middle of the poppers but you can definitely add some cheese if you like extra cheesy poppers. I also have a video showing how to do these Keto Jalapeno Cheese poppers, just scroll down or click here. 

You can add any seasonings in the dough, I used Trader joe’s Onion seasoning and Everything but the bagel seasoning. If you don’t have these seasonings then you can use onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, pepper etc. Basically you can use any seasonings/spices you prefer.

Macros from (Almond flour, Mozarella cheese and Jalapenos) 

Calories – 479.4

Net carbs – 8.6 gms 

Protein – 28 gms

Fat – 37 gms

The recipe makes 5-6 Jalapeno poppers and each has only 1.43 net carbs with only 79.9 calories. * I didn’t add macros of spices as I just used very small quantities.

Make them as appetizers or fun snacks for a party or gathering. For convenience you can make them in bulk and freeze them. Whenever you want to have them then you can reheat them in oven or air fryer.

Keto Jalapeno Cheese Poppers | Low carb | Super Easy to Make.!

  • 1/3 cup Almond flour
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozarella cheese
  • Salt/Seasonings/Spices (as per taste)
  • 18-20 Jalapeno slices(pickled) (see notes.)
  • Extra cheese (to stuff inside (optional))
  1. Pre heat oven or air fryer for 10 mins at 360F

  2. Take the Jalapeno slices and place them on a paper towel to get rid of excess moisture

  3. Take Almond flour, Mozarella cheese and spices/seasonings/salt in a bowl and mix well.

  4. Pop the bowl in microwave for 30 to 40 seconds to melt the cheese. If you dont have microwave, then you can do it in a double boiler. 

  5. Mix the flour and cheese mixture to form a dough. It will be hot so be careful.

  6. Take small portion of the dough and flatten it out using the back of the spoon into a circle or square shape. 

  7. Place the Jalapeno slices on the rolled dough and close it. If you want it more cheesy then add extra cheese in the middle..

  8. Place these onto a parchment paper, transfer into the air fryer or oven. 

  9. At 360F fry them for 10 mins, half way flip them to fry evenly. 

  10. Serve hot with Sugar free Ketchup or any Ranch dip.

  1. You can also use fresh Jalapenos if you like. De seed them if they are very hot.
  2. Add extra cheese in the stuffing for extra cheesiness. 
  3. You can deep fry them but close the ends properly, otherwise they open while frying and splatter.
  4. Makes 5 to 6 Jalapeno cheese poppers
