Healthy Fruit Salad | Fruit Chaat | Weight loss recipes

Healthy Fruit Salad is a best option if you are looking for a light meal or snack. It is filling, nutritious, appetizing,full of fiber and sweet too.! Fruit salad or fruit chat is oil free or fat free and very easy to make under 10 minutes. 

You can use any fruits of choice like papaya, banana, strawberries,grapes,pomegranate,pineapple, apple, peach etc. You can also add some nuts to get some crunch and healthy fats. Adding granola is also a great option if you are having it for breakfast. 

If can serve this salad for a party or potluck, just make it before hand(less than 12 hours) and store it in fridge. Just don’t add lime/lemon juice and salt, this will make the fruits soggy. Add it at the time of serving 🙂  

Add any seasonings you like, some of the seasonings/spice I like are fruit salts, fruit seasonings like Tajin, chaat masala, black salt, salt and cayenne pepper etc. Just keep an eye of sodium in the seasonings, opt for low sodium seasonings.

Healthy Fruit salad – Fruit chaat

  • 1/2 cup Sliced grapes
  • 1/2 cup Mango cubed
  • 1/2 cup Pomegrante seeds
  • 1 Banana – sliced
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries – quartered
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tsp Fruit seasoning or Chaat masala
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro or Herb of choice (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Lime or Lemon juice (optional)
  1. Wash your fruits and cut them into desired shape.

  2. Mix all the ingredients gently together in a salad bowl

  3. Serve and Enjoy Immediately.! 

  1. You can use any fruits of choice.
